A common theme nowadays, it can have an affect on children
My parents separated when I was quite young, so it's near impossible to remember a time when we were all a family. My sister Ashley and I ended up living with my mom, and we spent the weekends at my dad's house. It used to bother me, but as I grew up I learned to accept it.
This event had an impact on me because this did lead me to have a few complexes. As you grow up, your parents relationship and how they treat each other can affect how you act in a relationship in the future, you can pick up bad habits or traits from your parents in that prospect.
