Who knew that this would happen.
My sister Ashley, my mother and I were looking at the cats at the animal shelter, and one particular cat stood out to all of us. That would then become our cat, Zoey. At first, Ashley was close with her but over time she grew closer to me. Now, 5 or so years later, people consider her 'my cat'.
Zoey is my best friend, I'm sure a few of you can understand a pet being your best friend as well. She's always there to calm me down when things get a little too stressful, more than people ever have.
